Hi candidate,
The counselling rounds are held in different stages and involve multiple seat distribution and allotment round before final admission.
After the completion of each counselling round the student is provided with multiple choices to proceed for the further process, and he must choose any one of them to proceed counselling rounds.
Be alert and choose your options carefully. Have a good day.
Hello candidate,
Since you have not mentioned that about which Examination you are talking about so it becomes difficult to give out an appropriate answer or the right suggestion for your question.
Please mention the name of the examination and briefly describe about your theory papers and practicals.
Have a good day. Thank you.
Yes you can get admission in NIT next year, perhaps you need to again prepare for JEE Examination for 2021. Not only NIT, you can also prepare for IITs , i.e. the JEE Advanced Examination 2021. You are one of the luckiest batches, with your first year of Engineering at home and you can take this as an opportunity and prepare for a second bout at JEE.
Hi Aspirant!
Yes you can appear for the examination again in the next year. However if presently you are in an IIT then you will not be allowed admission in any other IIT in the next year. Even if you are eligible in that Institution. You however might accept a seat in any NITs. Provided you satisfy the other criterias and qualify their cutoff marks.

Thank you!
Hello Aspirant,
See you have not mentioned the name of examination for which you want to apply so it's quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information but however if we consider your profile then you are an engineering aspirant so you might be interested for JEE-Main and with perspective to this, the answer will be written, if you want to ask about any other exam then you can mention it.
So if you have not received you EWS certificate yet then you can apply for General category but if you get it later on before another shift of JEE-Main (as this year JEE-Main will be conducted four times in February, March, April & May), then you can change your category to EWS later on because the facility will be provided after each attempt.
You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-
https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P
Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.
This year JEE-Main is being conducted with slight changes in it's pattern and it's conduction and you can check out all the changes from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Greetings,
The proposed National Exit Test (NEXT) is a unified exam for attaining the practice license after completion of MBBS. As such, being a graduate level exam as well a medical field exam meant for the convenience of medical graduates across India, there is no (and can be no) age limit to appearing in the exam. Even the data available about the NEXT exam bill states that there will be co cap for number of attempts in the NEXT exam so please rest assured that no such action would be implemented by the government that would be disadvantageous to the students. There are many 2-3 time droppers as well as multiple times PG test takes in India and putting an age limit for such an exit test would be counterintuitive to the whole process.
Good luck
