Hello candidate,

Since you have not mentioned that about which Examination you are talking about so it becomes difficult to give out an appropriate answer or the right suggestion for your question.

Please mention the name of the examination and briefly describe about your theory papers and practicals.

Have a good day. Thank you.

i am in gfti can i get addmission in nit next year

Abhishek Roy 17th Dec, 2020

Yes you can get admission in NIT next year, perhaps you need to again prepare for JEE Examination for 2021. Not only NIT, you can also prepare for IITs , i.e. the JEE Advanced Examination 2021. You are one of the luckiest batches, with your first year of Engineering at home and you can take this as an opportunity and prepare for a second bout at JEE.

Hello,

Yes, you can appear for NEET next year.
For medical admissions through KCET you need to appear in NEET examination and have a valid neet scorecard and based on your score you will get seat in medical and dental college in Karnataka.

I hope this helps.

can I take admission in nit through jee mains next year ..i m a first year iit student ..i have this confusion because it is not allowed to go to any other Iit if already taken admission in iit.pls clarify

shankhalikamallick 17th Dec, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

Yes you can appear for the examination again in the next year. However if presently you are in an IIT then you will not be allowed admission in any other IIT in the next year. Even if you are eligible in that Institution. You however might accept a seat in any NITs.  Provided you satisfy the other criterias and qualify their cutoff marks.

Thank you!

I havent received my ews category certificate yet. So can I apply as general candidate this time but when Ill receive it till the next time then can I apply as ews for next shift.

Anurag Khanna 17th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See you have not mentioned the name of examination for which you want to apply so it's quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information but however if we consider your profile then you are an engineering aspirant so you might be interested for JEE-Main and with perspective to this, the answer will be written, if you want to ask about any other exam then you can mention it.

So if you have not received you EWS certificate yet then you can apply for General category but if you get it later on before another shift of JEE-Main (as this year JEE-Main will be conducted four times in February, March, April & May), then you can change your category to EWS later on because the facility will be provided after each attempt.

You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.

This year JEE-Main is being conducted with slight changes in it's pattern and it's conduction and you can check out all the changes from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/jee-main

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

As it said by our educational minister this year jee main exam will be conducted 4 times is this newpattern of jee mains continue in the next coming years

Shrishty sahu 16th Dec, 2020
Dear student,
This concept of conducting jee mains for 4 times in a year is introduced this year due to the covid pandemic situation prevailing in the country so that the students do not miss out any opportunities. Uf the situation does not continue the next year then this pattern might not be followed. However it completely depends on the authorities.

in present scenario due to pandemic we are delayed at least 1 year for admission for mbbs lets say he is a one year dropper for neet ug then after completion of mbbs his age will be 18+1+1+4.5=24.5 then if he is a GM student then he can attend NATIONAL EXIT TEST or NEXT only once!! age limit is 25?

pkp.inutail 16th Dec, 2020

Greetings,

The proposed National Exit Test (NEXT) is a unified exam for attaining the practice license after completion of MBBS. As such, being a graduate level exam as well a medical field exam meant for the convenience of medical graduates across India, there is no (and can be no) age limit to appearing in the exam. Even the data available about the NEXT exam bill states that there will be co cap for number of attempts in the NEXT exam so please rest assured that no such action would be implemented by the government that would be disadvantageous to the students. There are many 2-3 time droppers as well as multiple times PG test takes in India and putting an age limit for such an exit test would be counterintuitive to the whole process.

Good luck
