Dear,
NEXT (more commonly known as National Exit Exam for MBBS) will be a single window examination which will replace NEET-PG exam & MCI Screening exam (FMGE: Foreign Medical Graduate Examination). It will be implemented from 2022. This exam will be mandatory for Indian as well as foreign medical graduates. The students who will pass NEXT exit exam will start their internship. Score (rank) in NEXT exam will also be used to allot PG (MD/ MS/ DNB/ Diploma) seats in Government and private medical colleges in India.
NEXT will standardize the medical education in India. It will judge the conceptual understanding and problem solving skills of final year MBBS students. NEXT will comprise of two parts: Theory (NEXT-1) and practical (NEXT-2). Theory questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). NEXT-1 will be conducted after final year MBBS, before internship. After passing NEXT-1 students will start internship. Those who manage to pass theory (i.e. NEXT-1) will have to clear NEXT-2, the practical test, separately at the end of internship. The score obtained in NEXT-1 will help you to gain a PG seat after internship.
Hope this information helps!
See currently the NEP isn't in effect this year, it might be possible to be in effect from next year or so, at that time it is possible to hold your current course and opt for another course and after finishing that resuming your previous holded course. But currently it is not possible, if you are in 3rd semester of any particular course then you have to finish the complete course then you can opt for another course.
Hope this answer will help you.
Thank you!
Hi,
I hope this helps.
Well so after your payment , your admission in that college is confirmed.
Take the printout of your fee receipt.
If you have given any undertakings, clear them as soon as possible.
After that the option is in your hands , if you find another college suitable in next cutoffs so you can cancel your admission from that respective college and you can proceed with the college you want to go in forward.
Otherwise , your second option is that if you are very well satisfied with your college and don't want to change, then start your preparation for the orientation day especially for the Fresher's.
