Hi
RT stands for repeat theory. According to the circular released by CBSE in August 2021 among the eligible students for the compartment exam are
"After the declaration of results, students who are not able to meet the qualifying criteria in one subject and placed in compartment category."
Though this was for students appearing first time you will still have to go for compartment exam according to their circular
So if your previous result was better stick to it if you are unwilling to waste another year as compartment exams are conducted to save a students year.
You can check the circulars here

Don't worry, the improvement exam is just improve your marks. It won't effect your main marksheet or the result even if you fail in that. The exam is for improving your marks by re-appearing for the exam, but if you failed in that exam don't worry it won't effect your main result.
Hope this answer will help you.
Good luck!
Thank you :)
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
As you are already decided to take a drop for NEET 2022 because your NEET 2021 marks is not good enough to get a seat in NEET Counselling. But being a student of karnataka you want to try your luck on your state counselling. If you already applied it there then sure participate in document varification round, who knows you might get a seat but it totally depends on you what you really want to do. You have two options out there either compromise with your college this year or just focus on NEET 2022 for better place. Just decide it on your and visualise your rank, and capabilities too whether you will crack the NEET 2022 or not. If yes! then go ahead and do your preparation with alot of consistency. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
