Arts student 10+2 subject Bengali, English, Geography, philosophy, Nutrition & History. How to appear CUET 2025. UG course Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance).

Nitin Kumar 15th Jun, 2024

You can definitely appear for CUET 2025 aiming for a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance) program.

You will choose one language from the options available (Bengali or English in your case) and attempt 40 questions out of 50.

You can pick three or four subjects relevant to your desired program (Bachelor of Performing Arts - Dance). Since you don't have any performing arts subjects in your 10+2, you'll need to choose other relevant options.

  • History: This could demonstrate your knowledge of art forms and cultural contexts related to dance.

  • Geography: Might be relevant if the program focuses on dance forms from different regions.

  • Philosophy: Could showcase your analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • You can also consider other options like Sociology or Psychology that might be connected to performing arts depending on the specific program requirements.

Section III (General Test) (Optional): This section is not mandatory and tests reasoning, general knowledge, and numerical abilities. You can choose to attempt it or skip it based on your strengths and the weightage the program assigns to this section

Im pursuing BSc in nursing after that I want to become a nutritionist, which course should I do MSc in nutrition and dietetics or a PG diploma in nutrition and dietetics ?

Nitin Kumar 22nd May, 2024

MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics:

  • Duration: Typically 2 years
  • Depth of study: More in-depth exploration of scientific principles of nutrition, metabolism, and their impact on health. Often includes research opportunities.

  • Career options: Broader range of opportunities, including clinical practice, public health nutrition, research, education, and food service management.

  • Eligibility: Usually requires a Bachelor's degree in a science field (like nursing) with a minimum GPA.

PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics:

  • Duration: Typically 1 year

  • Depth of study: Focuses on practical application of nutritional knowledge for clinical or community settings.

  • Career options: Geared towards clinical practice or specific areas like sports nutrition. May require additional qualifications for research or some public health roles.

  • Eligibility: May have slightly less stringent eligibility requirements compared to MSc programs.

If you want to focus on clinical practice or a specific area, a PG Diploma might be sufficient. If you are interested in research, public health, or a broader career path, an MSc is a better choice.
