Next step is to qualify the entrance test that is Ph.D. Entrance test or eligibility test. If you clear any othe NET or ICMR or JRF exams, then you will be exempted form the PET exam.
Then go to the university site and find out institutes of that university where you want to work and know about the guides. Approach the institute and enquire if they conduct their own entrance and or interview for admission. Apply there if they have vacancy. and then based on your performance in admission exam and or interview you will be enrolled.
The steps are

Anna University Provides Some courses for Telugu
Hello aspirant
It depends on university you opt for pH D. Some universities strictly accept only msc in Agriculture students only . Eligibility for pursuing phD in Agriculture is to have master's degree in Agriculture.
. However you have done BSC in Agriculture so you are from the same background and know the basic things. If you have informed about University name, you might have got better reply.
hi,
see thapar university is good for placement for btech and mtech courses, however in phd course, there is high quality infrastructure and excellent lab facility to do research work, since most of the candidates have teaching experience they can go for different colleges as lecturer, but if you are a fresher candidate with no teaching experience I would recommend you to go for nits or iits rather then thapar institute.
