Hello
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/300-marks-in-neet-2025 You can read the article here for better understanding. With 300 in NEET 2024 and 71% in 12th, you can get admission in good private or semi-government colleges for BSc Physiotherapy. Government colleges may be tough, but many private ones offer seats based on 12th marks. Look for colleges in your state or nearby with lower cutoffs. You can also consider similar courses like BPT or Allied Health Sciences. Choose a college with good labs, internships, and hospital tie-ups for better career growth.
Hello,
In India, the common entrance exams for admission to physiotherapy courses include:
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test): This is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses, including Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) programs.
CET (Common Entrance Test): Some states conduct their own entrance exams for admission to various professional courses, including physiotherapy. The name and format of the exam may vary from state to state.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hi there,
A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course in India is basically a 4 years program that is divided into 8 semesters of six months each, followed by a 6-month compulsory internship.
Generally, the exams occur at the conclusion of every semester. These exams are composed of theory and practical-based question papers.
The core of the first two semesters is made up of basic subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, and Exercise Therapy. The 3rd and 4th semesters are the periods when technical and clinical subjects are introduced, besides regular studies. Among others, Electrotherapy, Kinesiology, and Pathology are the topics, along with both mid-semester assessments and end-of-semester exams. The 5th and 6th semesters are patient-centered periods of advanced clinical, e.g., Orthopedics, Neurology, and Pediatrics, in which the focus is on practical exams and viva. Rehabilitation, Community Physiotherapy, and specialty training are the main topics of the 7th and 8th semesters , that are also assessed by theory and practical exams. After completing the eight semesters, students are asked to undergo a 6-month hospital internship or rehabilitation centers, evaluated, and a degree completion clearance is needed.
The specific timetable and examination format may vary slightly between different colleges and universities.
Hope it helps!!!
