You can become a pilot after completing your Engineering. For it you will have to join an institute which trains commercial pilot.

The requirements to be a pilot changes from one institution to another. Few of the credentials that are common among all institutions are that the candidate should be an Indian citizen, has to be unmarried and cant have any mental or physical problems. One can apply for a student pilot license at the age of 16 years.

Step 1: Written examination

This examination is conducted to test the knowledge of students in subjects like English, Physics, and Mathematics. The candidates should ensure that they have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2. They should also have an aggregate score of 50% in all subjects.

Step 2: Pilot Aptitude Test:

In this exam, the candidates technical knowledge regarding the field of aviation will be done. Their knowledge in areas like aviation meteorology, aircraft and engine technology, navigation, and aircraft regulation.

Step 3: Personal interview and DGCA medical examination:

The personal interview can either be done by the authorities from the college or can be done by the officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Council. The medical examination will be done only by the assigned doctors from DGCA. This is done to ensure that the candidate is in their best mental and physical health.

After getting the student pilot license the aspiring pilots are expected to have completed 250 hours of ground experience. Whether to grant the candidate with the license will be decided completely by the DGCA council. The test will be an oral examination where the students have to get through in one attempt or will not be allowed to apply again.

sir i have completed my 12th by taking bipc now i want go for pilot training which requires mathematics so now can i apply for maths exam at nios, and how much time does it take to complete my exam?

shikha jindal 27th Jul, 2021

NIOS is the university run by the Indian Government by Minister of human resource development. If you have passed your 12th from other university/Board,not from NIOS,You are not allowed to give the exam of mathematics directly. If you want to give mathematics exam, you need to repeat class 11th again, after that you will be eligible to give mathematics exam from NIOS.But you can try in NIOS  through demand examination policy. For this you have to register the form to apply for on-demand examination of mathematics through their website(www.nios.ac.in) or contacting NIOS offices.NiOS syllabus is large but conceptuality as compared to other boards,But their copy checking is very strict. It is not time consuming because you did not have to prepare for board examination. You just need to study 11th and optional module completely and just the concepts . Minimum 3 months are required for preparation of mathematics.
