This is because this college has well maintained infrastructure, great academic ambience, placements with salary packages of 4-5 LPA as a starting package, well equipped labs. RGIPT has good faculty, infrastructure, placements and internships, it provides good education which is the clear sign of the TIER 1 College group. Placements: About 60-65% of students got placed in my batch through college placement drives. The highest package offered was 19 LPA offered by ONGC, and the lowest package was about 3 LPA by ICICI Bank.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

For mathematics and computing,  you need to  have the ability to present mathematical arguments and conclusions with accuracy and clarity the concepts and ability to analyze and interpreting the resultant data, finding patterns and drawing conclusions is very much needed here.

Maths and computing is a field that is very rich in maths you can say 100% pure maths with algorithms and theories proofs etc. this is the major difference. Though they are inter linked.
