I want to ask is there without option mcq questions in CAT examination

Ns Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2019

Hii aspirant...

In CAT entrance exam both MCQ option based question and subjective questions are being asked in the paper.

In the MCQ section of questions the the candidate is provided with 4 options and candidate have to choose the correct option for the question.

After year 2015 iIMs have introduced subjective questions for CAT entrance examination in which the candidates have to write the answers instead of doing choice for correct answer of MCQs.

Although number of questions are not fixed for both objective types of questions and MCQs question thus  I will suggest you to better see the previous year question paper to know more.

I have opted for marketing and sales stream in my 11th .. presently I am in 12th and I am confused as I dont have maths, acc. or eco ..

Raji_49 Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

Hi khushi Jain,

I am sorry to say that you must have chosen at least one of the subjects from Maths, acc or economics when you were deciding upon your higher studies. Students often do this mistake and repent later as most of the important entrance examination demand maths as important concept or the business schools consider one of these subjects as basic criteria for admission.

Marketing and sales stream is also a good subject to study in higher studies. Dont worry.

You can appear for these following examinations

DU JAT

IPMAT

NPAT

SET

AIMA UGAT

GGSIPU CET BBA

You can enter your marketing and sales marks in the best four subjects score and if you also score well in the examinations you will be able carry out your career in a good way.

Hope this helps

Scope of advertisingAdvertising is often regarded as the most important means of marketing a company's services and tools. The scope of advertising is to communicate a message to current customers or potentially target new customers.Scope of Sales Promotion. As consumers have developed a resistance to advertising, the use of sales promotion has increased. ... The purpose of advertising is to improve dispositions towards a brand, while the objective of sales promotion is to translate favourable attitudes into actual purchase. The scope of sales management is very important and drives the whole salessystem. Sales strategies: This has got all to do with product positioning, price decisions and running promotions. Knowing when to discontinue a product and also know the activities of the competitors. so Overall, Alot Of Scope , Choose Any Particular One As Career Option, Which Goes Hand In Hand With Your Interest.

I have done my MBA in Marketing and finance , can I know what are the further study options available both in India and abroad?

Mille Sharma 5th Jun, 2019

Hey, Eeshwari!

With a MBA degree in marketing and finance, you can either opt for dual degree MBA program or for a dual specialization. Great options for these are available both in India and abroad. Which option should be the best for you depends on your interest (subject interest, where you would like to study etc.), prospectus and on your priorities (staying near to home, finances etc.).

In dual degree MBA program, you go for a Masters degree in a field apart from business such as law, public health, science etc. In dual specialization, however, you go opt for yet another subject related to business such as finance or HR.

For more information regarding the subject, you are advised to visit the following link: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/mba-in-india-or-abroad-prospects-of-global-mba

Hope this helps. All the best!

Why in tamilnadu people thinking bba is bad it is only for sales and labour works And any prarent in bunsiness worth their children studing

Mahek 23rd May, 2019

Hello Fawin,

The problem you’re talking about, is just the mindset. It takes time for parents to believe that courses like BBA don’t have scope. Once their kids start performing well, and succeeding, they change their minds. It isn’t just limited to Tamil Nadu, it is widespread in the world. No Course is lesser, no degree is lesser.
