Miranda House - Sociology Kirorimal - Political Science Indraprastha College - Psychology College ranking - Miranda > Kirorimal > Indraprastha Subject ranking acc. to me : Psychology > Political Science > Sociology I would like to ask that whether I should prefer college over course or otherwise

darshita 18th Oct, 2021

Hello

if youa re asking what should be given preference college or degree. First of all every where in India you will get the same course books and study material and the same companies will hire you as other institutes. The major difference is the course or degree you are pursuing. The better the course the better chances of employement and you will have better interest in studies. After all college is not always about fun you sometimes want to meet new people and gain new experiences. Different courses have different opportunites for scope in india or abroad. So take that course which you have interest in and what will make you grow.

In a situation where you have to choose between course and college, given the clarity of your career goal, you should choose the course that gets you there. ... You can also outperform students from top colleges by acquiring skills over the course of college life and making yourself good at what you do.

hope this helps!

poltical science vs psychology vs sociology ?

Sumedha Bhattacharya 16th Oct, 2021

Dear Akansha,

Your question is not clear .. but if you want to know the comparison between these three subjects , then here it is:

Political Science is the knowledge about the activity or working procedure of Government .We generally know that science means a systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject.  So, that's why political science is giving us a special systematic knowledge of Indian Politics and their history with its present .

On the other side ,

Psychology is a totally different subject . It basically gives us a deep concept of human behaviour and their emotions with mental stability .

Sociology , again a totally different topic with the above two subjects .It generally helps us to gain the analytical skills to view the society , environment and the relationship between human and society with a logical point of view.

So.. I hope you can understand that these three topics are important in their own field and in such case no comparison should be there as all of them are equally valuable degrees for every desired individuals .

let me know if any other query regarding this raises in your mind !

Best wishes !!
