are NET or Mphil cadidates exempted from entrance exam of phd ignou

p.hemanth1255 8th Dec, 2021
Hello my friend.!
There is no exemption for NET or MPhil candidates. The actual process is like IGNOU offers many programmes out of which, entrance exam is conducted only for few programs like BEd, MPhil, PhD, MBA. For rest of the courses like certificate programmes, diploma, MCA, MA, MSc there is no entrance exam. For PhD, candidate should have done M.phil degree or master's degree with at least 55% aggregate.
Hope the information is useful

I have scored 78/200 in MA Sociology Entrance exam. Can I get admission in DU?

Hello.

As you know the cut offs for each year keep changing. It depends on a variety of factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of seats available and the performance of the students. So it is a bit difficult to say what the cut off for this year would be. But given your scores it might be a little difficult but not impossible. Miranda House - Sociology Kirorimal - Political Science Indraprastha College - Psychology College ranking - Miranda > Kirorimal > Indraprastha Subject ranking acc. to me : Psychology > Political Science > Sociology I would like to ask that whether I should prefer college over course or otherwise

darshita 18th Oct, 2021

Hello

if youa re asking what should be given preference college or degree. First of all every where in India you will get the same course books and study material and the same companies will hire you as other institutes. The major difference is the course or degree you are pursuing. The better the course the better chances of employement and you will have better interest in studies. After all college is not always about fun you sometimes want to meet new people and gain new experiences. Different courses have different opportunites for scope in india or abroad. So take that course which you have interest in and what will make you grow.

In a situation where you have to choose between course and college, given the clarity of your career goal, you should choose the course that gets you there. ... You can also outperform students from top colleges by acquiring skills over the course of college life and making yourself good at what you do.

hope this helps!
