i did bsc in biotechnology from private University which is not accredited to icar. now if i do msc in biotechnology from icar accredited University or government state University am i eligible for icar jrf/srf?

Raychel 24th Oct, 2020

Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well.

First obtain your master’s degree or equivalent degree from an icar based university your BSC Mark's wont matter here so make sure ur MSC MSC University is accredited with ICAR.

Than score 55% marks or above, that's the minimum requirement for Jrf. If you belong to reserved categories you are eligible for 5% relaxation in the marks you obtain.

Minimum age should be 20+ .

Hope this helps.

Prepare well, all the best !!

what is better deemed university or state university iwant todo bachelor of physiotherapy then should i opt for deemed university or state university

JAYA KARTHIKA RS 19th Oct, 2020

Hello,

STATE UNIVERSITIES

  • State Universities are funded by State government
  • They are governed by the UGC Guidelines
  • Structure of Fees and Course are regulated and streamlined
  • Can grant degrees in its own name
  • It provides education to all through their functioning

DEEMED UNIVERSITIES

  • Deemed is a status of autonomy granted to a university
  • Deemed to be University can decide their courses, syllabus, admission procedure and fees structures on their own
  • They can conduct their own exams
  • May or may not grant grant Degrees on their own
  • It can become a full-time fledged University if it performs well
  • It provides great facilities for rare and Advanced courses

Most top Placements goes to State universities as they have talented students due to strict admission process through entrance exams

And they're more affordable compared to Deemed university

But in some Deemed universities Quality of education is better than State University

Actually, there is no Guideline mentioning which is better

So, it's your choice to choose which type of College you want to get into based on your preferences

You should analyse the university's Placements record, fees..etc

So, you should Research it carefully according to your choices because it impacts future career prospects

What should I prefer, Bcom from Not so famous state university of chhattisgarh or BA Programme from Delhi University?

Era Madaria 17th Oct, 2020

Hi Student

You should look for the career options of both the courses rather than choosing the college. Because  there is no point of doing a not so good course from best college because at the end the placement will be less in that course or even if you get a job , the salary and growth will not be that good. But still compare between the courses , read the review of the other university and then decide a course and college,

For any further query you can comment in the comment section given below.
