Hello Aspirant, See there is no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main but as per general rules and regulations,there is requirement of at least 75% marks in 10+2 for General category candidate for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs on the basis of JEE-Main score. And the criteria has been relaxed only till this year and for next year it might get restored and if it gets restored then the candidates having less than 75% will not be eligible for admission to aforementioned institutions but they will be eligible to appear for JEE-Main. There are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them. JEE-Main eligibility criteria is mentioned below :- 1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind. 2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board. 3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2023 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or 2023; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2023, would be eligible to appear. Don't lose hope if you are not able to clear jee there are alternate entrances like bitsat, wbjee, srmjeee, manipal, mhcet , comedk, viteee.
So you will definitely clear one of these entrances and will get into a good college. But if you really determined to clear jee then i want to tell you that you should take a drop and prepare well.
But if want an alternative stream then i would recommend you to do bsc and then msc or you can also do bca and then mca if you are interested in computers.
So, it's very important to go with your interest irrespective of the society.

Your score is too low for getting government colleges but because of your reserved category you can get deemed university.you should go for NEET exam again to fetch more marks and get government medical colleges.
Further, NEET application are out and the last date for application is 7th may and exam date is on 17th of july.there is very less time you can start your preparation with NEET knockout to get good scores.

I would like to tell you that you must use code 5 in your NEET application form, since you are studying Bsc 6th semester.
Code 5 says that all the students who are doing BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their graduation comes under code 5.
Anyone who has completed the first year of a bachelor's degree at a recognised university with practical assessments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. So, by this you should fill code 5.
