Can i give 12th boards next year as Regular Student not as Private? Ive also not given practical exams !

piyush singh 19th Apr, 2022

Hello, I hope you are doing well

Yes, You can do so but only if the school or institute you are studying in allows you to do so.

Otherwise you can appear as a Private candidate for Board exams, in any of the cases you will have your practical marks similar as that of previous one and will have to appear for your Theory paper only.

It depends on the school in  which you wanna read or complete your 12th exam.

Following is the basic Difference between a private candidate and a regular candidate:

Hope this helps

is it important for a scholarship student to stay at hostel in nift?

Subhalaxmi Biswal 29th May, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

A scholarship student doesn't necessarily need to stay at a hostel in NIFT. NIFT implies the National Institute of Fashion Technology. It is a praiseworthy fashion and design institute and its office is in New Delhi. It has campuses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Patna, Shillong, Raebareli, Srinagar, and Panchkula. It conducts its entrance exam i.e., the National Institute of Fashion Technology entrance exam generally known as the NIFT entrance exam at a national level for entry into design programmes namely - Bachelor of Design ( B.Des ), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design ( M.Des ), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech). A total of 4,517 UG and PG design seats are assigned to the NIFT qualified aspirants.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Apr, 2022

This is because,

Though you are doing Bsc your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2 as you don't have biology

While, those who have passed 1st year of 3 year graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

-----------------------------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2022 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

-----------------------------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

-----------------------------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

-----------------------------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of  Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology
