hello aspirant,
If you wish to study in Karnataka medical Colleges, then you can give KCET exam and NEET exam as well.
You can choose only PCB in KCET , if you are from Medical/Biology stream. There is no necessity that you have to write Mathematics Exam also. There is always the option for your choice. If you want to get a seat in any medical field then you must go with the PCB.
Further, for NEET Exam , you only have the options to write Physics Chemistry and Biology paper.
So these 2 exams you can give and you cna get medical Colleges admission in karnataka

Fail in one or two subject out five subject is not consider you fail for the whole course but you have to pass in Re-examination Or retest otherwise you consider as fail for the course /year back. This is happens in most of cases but i can guarantee it. Because there are many special cases too. You should read the guidelines issued from your colleges or contact to examination authorities . Do comment on comment section below for more related quires.
hope it's helpful for you..

Hi,
Yes, you will have to study Mathematics in the first year. Those who had mathematics earlier will have some advantage but if you attend all the classes and are sincere enough, you can still do pretty well. The fact is Mathematics taught in NISER in the first year (different mathematical definitions, introduction to real analysis, the concept of spaces, infinity, etc.) is very different from what is usually taught in +2. So even if one had mathematics, they have to work hard and from scratch again to learn and unlearn a lot of concepts. It is one’s first introduction to fundamental mathematics than application-based mathematics that we usually see in high school. Who knows, if you are able to understand the subject well, you might like it the most. The teachers of the Mathematics department at NISER are amazing and some of the best teachers of the institute and the country.
If you are up for learning a new subject/concept (which you will regularly do if you get into a career in research), learning mathematics irrespective of your earlier experience won’t trouble you in NISER. You will have to actually invest time in it though. You can not escape by just taking the class notes from someone else.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hello Aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well.
EWS stands for Economically Weaker Sections of the society which are under the General Category and are economically poor. So, there is a special reservation in Government institutions for these students, but not in all private colleges.
If you want to get Fee Relaxation, and if your college offers such concession then, you can get it solely on the basis of your EWS certificate.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
