Yes CSE is good department for going in CDS. But you can choose also mechanical engineering department. CDS is combined defence service. You can go for Navy, air force etc from this service. So CSE is important. Because this all departments important for computer. And if you handle good in computer may be you can shift this work which is basis on computer coding etc. And mechanical engineering also important because you know about the machines, you can fixed it also. Now you choose which stream you will choose for your BTech.

If you want to get in BTech in Computer Science and Engineering you have to give JEE main examination and you need a valid rank ok to get admission in this stream in this college. For the year of 2019 the last cutoff rank of round 3 for the stream was 23344. At 94 percentile and oustide punjab category your chances are average for getting cse seat because last year cut for cse goes 95.2 percentile. However, their are quite high chances of getting seat in ece stream , i would suggest you to for it and start doing coding because you will all sit together only in placements
