When the admission of M.COM Part I for academic year2021-22 WILL BE Starting

Mansi Bhatt 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello!

As your hashtag specifies Mumbai University, The admissions of MCOM Part 1 begins in August and ends in September.

Usually the colleges have 60 seats for MCOM, and so the admissions are pertinent to one merit list only, although it totally depends upon the college if they have more seats to offer or if any other student withdraws their application they put up 2nd merit list.

I hope this was helpful. Do revert back if you have any other questions

I have 1 atkt in Syba 4th sem 1 paper. then as per eligibility criteria I got addmissio in tyba honours economics. but unluckily I couldnt cleared 5th and 6th sem. Im unable to clear maths statistics paper. can I take admission in idol and reapply for tyba honours but as whole subject as theory??

Mansi Bhatt 2nd Dec, 2021

Hello student!

To have a whole clear degree in your hand you first need to clear the ATKT of your SYBA Sem 4.

As far as aspect regarding Semester 5 and 6 is concerned, Yes you can attempt again through IDOL.

But the aspect regarding Theory, I am sorry but no as Math and Statistics are both practical based examinations, you cannot just opt for theory.

It does not depend on anyone but just on the person who will set the exam, whether to ask theoretical or practical questions.

if i dont get admission after all merit list. what is the another procedure to take admission for first year in Mumbai university

Aashiketa 28th Sep, 2021

Hi, as the admissions are opened on yearly basis. If you don't get admissions in any of the merit list. You will have to wait one more year. You can either apply using same score card or you can appear for the test again. Since, you didn't get admission with this marks it is very easy to say that getting admission next year with the same marks would be difficult. So, it is always safe and better to re-appear. You can choose to do distance learning as well. All the best!
