can I fell up form for neet before board exam?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Mar, 2022

Hi

If  you are in class 12 , then you  yes can give Neet examination provided you are appearing for board examination but if you have just moved from 11 to 12th then you are not eligible for it.

For example,

If you are class 12th right now  and you are going to appear for 12th board examination 2022 in coming months then yes you can appear in NEET 2022 as 12th board examination appearing students are eligible but in case if you have just passed class 11th and moved to 12th  this year in 2022 and will be appearing for board examination in 2023 then you are not eligible for neet 2022 .

For your reference,

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET 2022 :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible for neet 2022 you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2022 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet 2022  one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st in the year of appearing for the examination i. e 31st December 2022 in case of neet 2022

-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2022 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

***** practising chapterwise questions

***** then revising the chapters,

***** solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

***** go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash course for you, the link for the same is given below :-

sir, my AIR is 243054 and i am under obc catagory can i get admission in bams private collage in maharastra in mop up round?

Sree Student Expert 11th Mar, 2022

Hi student,

Your profile suggests that you belong to Maharashtra domicile.

As cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors it is difficult to predict exactly.

**But based on previous year's cut-offs of NEET UG for BAMS, it is difficult to get Goverment seat in Private BAMS Colleges but you have moderate chances of getting Management quota seat in Private BAMS Colleges atleast in Mop-up round, which are listed below for your NEET UG score based on previous year's cut-offs and previous rounds of NEET UG 2022.

--Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved and Research Centre, Pune

--Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur

--KLE University Shri. BM Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Post Graduate Studies and Research Centre, Belagav

--Padamshri Dr. DY Patil College of Ayurved and Research Institute, Navi Mumba

Does "Not upgraded" in the round 2 of WB councelling means no college came up by my rank ??????????

Sree Student Expert 10th Mar, 2022

Dear student,

>>Yes, the meaning of "Not Upgraded" is that your seat did not got upgraded and no College came for your Rank. The seat which you were allotted in Round 1 of West Bengal NEET UG Counselling remain on your name as in Round 2 you did not get any seat Upgradtion.

>>>You can apply for other rounds like Mop-up round if you still wish for different College seat. You can go forward with Mop-up round or any other next round of Counselling.

>>>If you have chances of getting upgraded seat from the list of Colleges you have opted, then you'll get upgraded seat or else same thing will show up in Mop-up round as Not Upgraded.
