sab bolte h MCA me scope Nh raha placement Nh hota h NIT se MCA kiye bhi to esa conform Nh hota ke placement ho ese me kya karna teek rahega MCA ya UPSC

Harshit 2nd Aug, 2020

Hey,

When you say scope, am assuming you’re talking here in terms of placements.

So be it an NIT or any other reputed university across the country, It’ll always be less then B.Tech. You’ll always be second preference, mostly it’ll be your college “placement cell” who’ll make you feel that and then some big tech giants.

Given this, you can have an amazing career. because scope completely depends on you skill set. If you’re good at it, and can prove it, they’ll take you. simple as that. A lot of hiring challenges are always around. keep a look out.

Now it is totally depend on your skills and your passion which is good for you MCA or UPSC .

Hope I solve your query.

All the best!!!!

Can i change my subjects in bsc 2nd year?.. currently i have main subjects as chemistry , botany , zoology..but Ive keen interest in physics so i wanna swicth biology to physics? can i do this? as i want to prepare for upsc and i want my optional subject as physics! please guide me🙏

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

Hello Purva

In most colleges you cannot change your stream from biology to physics as they are not that related. In my college, Central University, once you have taken admission in a subject of life science you cannot switch to pure science. However there might be colleges which can allow you to switch but I have not heard about any such incidence in Science field. There are a few engineering colleges which allows changing stream from civil to mechanical but thpse are limited to engineering colleges.

One needs to attain 21 years ago and can apply even in the final year of graduation.

UPSC consists of three stages; Preliminary,  Mains and Personality Test.

what subject is best for cracking UPSC

pdwords Student Expert 26th Jul, 2020
Hello,

In order to appear for UPSC, candidates need to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, there is no specific aggregate required in this case, you need to attain 21 years age, and can apply even in the final years.

There isn't anything as such best subject for UPSC, as it's tend to be more humanities oriented, hence those from the similar backgrounds have added advantages of being well acquainted with the subjects which don't happen in case of other students such as engineering or medical, however if we look at previous year trends of toppers, many people from these background too have successfully qualified, so eventually it's your planning, preparation and dedication that matters, also UPSC tends to be unpredictable, in such cases it's good to have back up plan.

If you are very clear about appearing for only UPSC, and no other exams, you can pursue graduation in any discipline of arts such as  political science, public administration, economics, geography etc, however in this case you have start your preparation from college year itself as upsc syllabus is humongous.
