Take courses in animal behavior (if available), general biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Then take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) to qualify for entering a veterinary school. While in school, volunteer or intern at vet clinics or animal care facilities to gain experience working with animals.

Doctorate curriculum should include animal anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, nutrition, virology, and zoology. Pursue independent research in the field. Undertake hands-on supervised clinical practice (practicums) in your final year. Potential sites include animal farms, veterinary clinics, hospitals, and zoos.

I qualified my neet exam with 143 marks. Is there any chances of being in veterinary doctor.

S. Saha Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019
For general merit students approx. 425-450 score - all India quota govt. Seat.
For General merit students approx. 320-400 - state govt. Quota (depends on state domicile)
For private colleges- there are very few private colleges in India for Veterinary - lesser NEET score will do as the private college fee is much higher as compared to Government colleges.
Hope this helps.
Good luck...

Sir which subject requires for laboratories course

DrTeeth 16th Nov, 2020

If you are talking about the medical laboratory courses after class 12, here are the options that you have:

1. Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (MLT)  (2 year program)

2. B.Sc in MLT (3 year program)

A Bachelors in Science has the upper hand for obvious reasons, and it enables you to conduct clinical tests which are useful to diagnose, treat, and prevent a wide range of medical conditions.

Eligibility for both the courses is 10+2 in Science stream, with 50% aggregate marks for BSc and 40% for DMLT. The subjects that you require are PCM/B
