Since u haven't mentioned the board, Here is the paper pattern that can come in the CBSE board maths question paper:

Section A can be objective consisting of MCQs, Fill in the blanks, True or False or Very short answers depending on the question paper pattern.

Section B can be solving basic calculations and simple reasoning questions or simple definitions and proving them.

Section C can consist of multiple step calculations

Section D will obviosuly contain bigger word problems and Geometry related questions such as construction.

Imp Questions will be:

• Convert mixed to improper fraction and vice versa.
• Decimal questions such as addition, subtraction etc.
• Ratio of boys to girls in a class.
• Simple Interest and Compound Interest questions.
• Perimeter and area questions.
• Algebraic Word Problems.

Yes, a diploma holder in Computer Engineering can apply for the NIFT entrance exam , but only through the lateral entry route.

NIFT allows candidates with a 3-year or 4-year engineering diploma from a recognized board to apply for B.F.Tech (Fashion Technology) through lateral entry. The diploma must be approved by AICTE or the State Technical Board.

The age limit is usually 24 years for the general category.

So yes, you are eligible, as Computer Engineering is an engineering diploma.

Yes, you can be eligible for the AIIMS Nursing exam even if you have taken Biology as an additional subject from NIOS. NIOS is a recognized board, and AIIMS accepts 10+2 passed from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Your eligibility mainly depends on these points:

• You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2.

• You must meet the minimum marks requirement (55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST in PCB and English).

• Your additional Biology subject must be clearly shown in your NIOS marksheet.

If you meet these conditions, you can apply. However, always check the latest AIIMS Nursing prospectus of the exam year because rules can change.
