Hello,
If you are truly focused on becoming a doctor and are ready to study seriously, then taking a complete drop can be a good option. Since you didn’t prepare properly this year, you can use the drop year to study well and aim for a better NEET score.
But if you are not fully sure about taking a drop or are interested in a career in Forensic Science, then BSc Forensic Science is also a good option with its own career scope.
So, decide based on your interest and confidence in preparing for NEET again.
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
Thanks for reaching out!
You belong to SC category from Nagaland and scored 313 in NEET, Unfortunately your score is below the expected cutoff range of 400-420 needed for MBBS admission under the state quota at NEIGRIHMS (Shillong).
Consider private/management quota seats in other institutes which may have lower cutoff requirement
Explore in other states where ST cutoff marks can be lower

Keep checking the official website regularly for updates.
Hii,
With the SEBC state rank of 9490 depends a lot on which state you're from, since seat availability and cutoff trends vary from one state to another. But to give you a general idea with this rank, you may not get top-tier government colleges, but you still have a realistic chance at semi-government or private colleges, especially in the later counselling rounds. If you’re from a state like Gujarat or Maharashtra, there are several self-financed colleges and lower cutoff institutes where SEBC candidates with ranks above 9000 have gotten admission in previous years. It’s important to participate in all rounds , especially the mop-up round, because seats often open up last minute due to withdrawals.
For a better idea, you can check your state’s counselling website or use college predictors like: College predictor careers 360
All the best!
With the rank of 3811 in AP EAMCET 2025 and belonging to the RWS category, you have a good chance of gettin ECE at VIT-AP. Based on the previous years cut-offs the closing rank for ECE at VIT-AP has gone beyond your rank,so you are likely to secure a seat especially in the second round or subsequent rounds of councelling. Make sure to fill in your choices wisely and attend all counselling rounds to improve your chances.

No, Physics is not always compulsory for admission to B.Sc. Zoology Honours in Odisha but it depends on the university or college you're applying to.Most universities in Odisha like Utkal University, Ravenshaw University, Berhampur University, etc. require that you must have studied Biology in your class 12 . Many colleges allow either Chemistry or Physics as the second subject alongside Biology. So, Physics is not strictly mandatory everywhere. Some colleges may ask for a combination of Biology + Chemistry + Physics in your Class 12,
Check the eligibility criteria on the official website of the college or university you’re applying to.
Thank you

To get admission in the BSc-MSc Forensic Science course at NFSU Delhi under the Armed Forces (CW) quota, you should aim to score at least 45 to 50 marks in NFAT 2025.
There are 2 supernumerary seats for CW category, but you must still be on the common merit list. So, try to score above 50 marks to have a good chance of selection.
