My wbjee rank is 72000 and my sc rank is 8000 can I get cse in heritage or kgec or any government college???

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 24th Aug, 2025

With a WBJEE 2025 general rank of 72,000 and an SC category rank of 8,000, securing a Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) seat in top government colleges like Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) or Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT), Kolkata, is highly unlikely. In 2024, KGEC's closing rank for CSE under the SC category was around 5,436, and HIT Kolkata's closing rank for CSE in the SC category was approximately 10,419 .

In neet pg 2024 counselling I was allotted dnb orthopedic in 3rd round... after 10-12 days of joining i resigned that seat and appeared in this neet pg and got a rank Will I be eligible for neetpg counselling for md/ms seat????

Chelsie G 24th Aug, 2025

Hello! Yes, you are eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling for MD/MS seats even if you previously joined a DNB course and resigned after 10 to 12 days. NEET PG counselling rules allow candidates who have left a DNB seat to reappear and opt for MD/MS seats, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid NEET PG rank for the current year. However, you must disclose your earlier admission and resignation during the counselling process, and your previous joining will be recorded. Make sure to complete all required formalities and document submissions on time to secure a seat in the desired MD/MS course.

I graduated from Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh. In my final year marksheet, instead of declared the exam result, the printing date of the examination is written, it needs improvement. Because Any application form has to fill the date of passing in education qualification section. please give your Suggestions.

Chelsie G 24th Aug, 2025

Hello! In your case, since the final year marksheet from Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh shows the examination date instead of the result declaration or passing date, it can create issues while filling application forms. The best approach is to request a corrected or revised marksheet from the university. You can contact the Examination or Academic Section and explain that the passing date or result declaration date is required for official purposes. Alternatively, you can also ask for an official certificate or provisional certificate mentioning the actual date of passing, which can be used while filling application forms.

I got 77 percentile in PCB and my category is OBC. In the second final merit list, my rank is 6493. So, which colleges can I get admission to?

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 24th Aug, 2025

With a JEE Main 2025 rank of 6,493 in the OBC category, you have a good chance of securing admission to several National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) for various B.Tech programs. For instance, in 2024, NITs like NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal had closing ranks for OBC candidates in the range of 4,000 to 6,000 for branches such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) . Similarly, IIITs like IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Bangalore had closing ranks for OBC candidates around 5,000 to 10,000 for CSE . GFTIs also had closing ranks for OBC candidates up to 10,000 in previous years . While specific closing ranks for 2025 are yet to be released, your rank positions you competitively for admission to these institutes. It's advisable to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process and consider various options based on your preferences and the available branches.

Navodaya school 8th school addmission form

Prachi Kumari 25th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Navodaya does not give direct admission in Class 8. Admission in Class 8 is possible only through lateral entry test , that too if there are vacant seats in that class.

The form is released on the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (navodaya.gov.in) when vacancies are announced. Students have to fill the online form, upload documents and then appear for the test. Selection is based on the result of this test.

So, if you want admission in Class 8, you need to wait for the lateral entry notification on the official site.

Hope it helps !
