Hii,
If you belong to a PCB background and want to explore fields like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. But there are some important things to keep in mind. Usually, B.Tech in AI and DS comes under engineering courses, so most colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics in Class 12 (i.e., PCM or PCMB). That’s because the course involves coding, statistics, algorithms, and problem-solving all of which need a solid foundation in Maths. Some private universities or deemed colleges offer direct admission to PCB students, either by relaxing the Maths requirement or by admitting students through management quota. You may have to take an additional foundation course in Mathematics or coding in the first semester. A few colleges have started B.Sc. in AI & Data Science programs that are more flexible with eligibility. These are not engineering degrees but can still lead to good careers in AI, especially if you're open to further certifications.Since you haven't given the JEE or any entrance exam, you'll have to look for colleges that offer direct admission based on Class 12 marks, have a management quota, or conduct a basic aptitude test or interview, and accept PCB students also. It’s better to call or email the admission desk directly.

Hello,
For the B.A. course at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, the total fees from 1st to the last semester are generally affordable, as NEHU is a central university.
As per the latest information:
Semester-wise fees: Around 2,500 to 3,000 per semester this includes tuition, exam, and other basic fees. There are 6 semesters in total for the B.A. program 3 years. So, the total course fee is around 15,000 to 18,000 for all semesters combined. Some additional charges may apply for the library, ID card, or student union, but these are not very big amounts. But remember that the hostel, mess, and transport are separate and not included in this fee. Also, the fee may slightly vary depending on your subject combination, category (SC/ST/General), or any fee waiver/scholarship offered by the government.
You can confirm the latest fee structure from here,

If you're planning to apply for LLB admission in 2025,“You should first figure out which LLB course you want to do. Law courses in India are available in two ways either as a 3-year LLB after graduation or a 5-year integrated program like BA LLB, BBA , etc., It's for those students who have completed class 12.Each college has its own way of giving admission, so it’s better to check early. Some colleges take students based on national-level entrance exams like CLAT, CUET, while others may have their own entrance tests or merit-based criteria. For example, NLUs use CLAT, and many central universities now accept CUET UG or PG scores depending on the program type.Marks and exam rules change from one university to another.
Admission forms are generally out between January and June, depending on the college. So keep visiting the official websites regularly for updates, especially for counselling dates and form deadlines.

For NEET 2025, candidates applying under the Kashmiri Migrant quota in the General category typically require a score in the range of 330 to 380 to be considered for MBBS seats. In past years, some admissions under this quota have been secured with scores around 340, especially in the later rounds of counselling.
However, to increase your chances of admission, especially in more competitive colleges or in Delhi, it is advisable to aim for a score of 380 or higher. A score of 400 or above would place you in a stronger position across most colleges that accept candidates under the Kashmiri Migrant quota.
This quota generally offers some relaxation compared to the open General category cutoffs, which often exceed 600 marks, particularly for top government medical colleges.
