Since u haven't mentioned the board, Here is the paper pattern that can come in the CBSE board maths question paper:
Section A can be objective consisting of MCQs, Fill in the blanks, True or False or Very short answers depending on the question paper pattern.
Section B can be solving basic calculations and simple reasoning questions or simple definitions and proving them.
Section C can consist of multiple step calculations
Section D will obviosuly contain bigger word problems and Geometry related questions such as construction.
Imp Questions will be:
- Convert mixed to improper fraction and vice versa.
- Decimal questions such as addition, subtraction etc.
- Ratio of boys to girls in a class.
- Simple Interest and Compound Interest questions.
- Perimeter and area questions.
- Algebraic Word Problems.
