Can I change my category from sebc to general after resistation in BDS maharashtra

SHUBHANGI SINHA 27th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Unfortunately No, after registering for BDS in Maharashtra, you are often not allowed to switch from SEBC to general. It is usually not possible to change your application form once you have submitted it with a particular category, particularly during or after the counselling process.

if i get a college in 1 st round. in mcc and then i went for upgradation in second round and if no seat is alloted in second round am i eligible for 3 rd round and is my first round alloted seat still valid

Prachi Kumari 25th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for Round 3 (Mop-Up Round).

If you get a seat in Round 1 and choose upgradation in Round 2 but do not get any new seat , then:

  • Your Round 1 seat remains valid .

  • You can keep that seat and still participate in Round 3 if you do not report or join the Round 1 seat.

  • If you joined the Round 1 seat and got no upgrade , you can still go for Round 3, but your Round 1 seat will be forfeited if you get a new seat in Round 3.

So yes, you can go for Round 3, and your Round 1 seat is safe if no seat is allotted in Round 2.

Hope it helps !

Prachi Kumari 25th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can be eligible for AFMC if:

  1. You passed all subjects in Class 12 in the same attempt , including Biology.

  2. You appear for NEET and score well.

  3. You meet the age and other eligibility rules.

Since you are repeating Class 12 as a private candidate , you must clear all required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) in this single attempt .

If you pass all subjects together now and meet the other conditions, then yes, you can apply for AFMC.

Hope it helps !

I have completed my bca on 2024 but I have 1 back in 6th sem and I clear the back in 2025 then am I 2024 passout or 2025 passout??am I consider in 2024 batch or 2025 batch??.

Prachi Kumari 25th Jul, 2025

Hello,

You will be considered a 2025 pass-out because you cleared your back paper in 2025. Even though you completed your classes in 2024, your degree is only complete after clearing all subjects.

So, for job applications and documents, you will be counted in the 2025 batch .

Hope it helps !

My ladies state category merit number is 3358 will I get PCCOE ,pimpri for IT faculty

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

Yes. If your state merit number is 3358 and you are applying for the Information Technology (IT) branch at PCCOE Pimpri, you have good chances of getting admission.

In the previous years, the closing rank for IT in PCCOE for lady candidates from open or OBC category was between 4700 to 5300. Since your rank is better than that (3358), you are likely to get a seat in one of the CAP rounds.

Your chances for Computer Engineering (CSE) are a little lower, because its cutoff is slightly higher, but you can still try, especially in later rounds if seats remain.

So yes, with your rank, you can get IT in PCCOE.

I got 195 marks with 822278 rank. Iam sc category.do i get seat in mbbs in telangana

Ayush Madanpotra 26th Jul, 2025

You got 305 marks in NEET 2025 and your All India Rank is around 8.22 lakh. You belong to the SC category.

You have qualified NEET because for SC category, the qualifying marks are usually around 113 to 143. So you are eligible for counselling.

But getting admission in a government MBBS college in Telangana is very difficult with 305 marks. Last year, SC category students needed around 440 to 450 marks to get into government medical colleges under the state quota.

Even for All India Quota (15%), SC candidates needed more than 550 marks in some Telangana colleges.

With 305 marks, your chances are very low for government colleges. But you can try for admission in private medical colleges in Telangana or other states where the cut off is lower. You can also consider BDS (dental), BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (homeopathy), or paramedical courses.

So in short, you are eligible for counselling but chances in government medical college are almost impossible. You can try for private colleges or other health courses.

I studied bsc biomedical science it will complete August month 1st or 2nd week. Can I apply for m.pharm in you university

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hi Mohan,

Yes, since you're completing your BSc Biomedical Science by August 1st or 2nd week, you can apply for M.Pharm provided your degree is from a recognized university and you meet the eligibility criteria. Most colleges require a minimum of 50% in your UG degree sometimes more for general category, and some may ask for GPAT scores. If you're aiming for top institutes like ICT Mumbai or NIPERs, GPAT is highly recommended. For private universities, direct admission or institute-level tests are also common. Don’t forget to check individual college deadlines they usually close applications between June and August.

Thank you
