Hello,
For NIOS, practicals usually start a few weeks before the theory exams. For the October–November 2025 session, practicals in subjects like Home Science are expected around mid-September to early October, while theory exams will start from first week of October 2025. The exact datesheet will be uploaded on the NIOS website, so keep checking the official notifications.
Thank you and best of luck!
Hey Adhiraj:)
Unfortunately, holding two domicile certificates from two different states is against the rules and not allowed .A domicile certificate is meant to prove your permanent residence in one state only, and having more than one is considered invalid and risky.Infact, some Universities have already debarred some NEET candidates who tried to use double domicile. So, the safest approach is to choose one state for which you clearly meet the domicile eligibility to ensure you meet all requirements and participate in that state counselling .
You can still apply through All India Quota,so you don't lose your chances of admission while staying completely within the rules.
hope you'll find this helpful!
Yes, several scholarships are available:

Most universities abroad also offer their own need/merit-based scholarships, so when you apply, always check the funding options of that university.
Thank you!
Yes, with 1324 rank in OBC, you have a good chance for B.Pharm at Utkal University since pharmacy seats are usually available up to higher ranks too. Cutoffs vary every year, but your rank is decent enough to expect a seat in Utkal or its affiliated colleges. Keep Utkal University as your first choice in counselling.
Best wishes!
Hey!
Thanks for reaching out!
Based on your OJEE rank of 1324 in the OBC category, you have a good chance of getting admission in B.Pharm at Atkal University, Bhubaneswar .Theprogram has limited seats but previous trends shows that candidates with ranks well above 1000 in the OBC category have secured seats.Admission is purely based on OJEE rank along with counselling and documents verification,so make sure your eligibility criteria are met and all documents including your OBC certificate is ready and participate in counselling to maximize your chances.
The answer is yes you can get a government BAMS seat through All India Quota counseling , as it provides access to the 15% AIQ seats in government colleges across India.
I would like to add one thing more that apply in institutions like Banaras Hindu University (BHU),National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) etc because 100% seats are available to all there is no reservation for state quota in Central Universities and National Institutes then you will definitly get better college .
Good luck!!
Based on your NEET 2025 rank 446041, getting admission in government BAMS colleges of Karnataka will be very difficult as cut-offs are usually much higher. However, you may still get chances in private BAMS colleges under management quota or higher category fees. Some semi-government or lesser-known private institutes may also take students with this rank. I would suggest you to keep checking the KEA counselling process, explore options like deemed/private universities, and also look at colleges in nearby states if you are flexible. If possible, you can also keep B.Sc. or paramedical courses as backup options along with BAMS.

Hey, you scored 258 marks in NEET and belong to the OBC category. First of all, congratulations on clearing NEET, that’s a big achievement! Now, talking about government BAMS colleges, getting a seat with 258 marks will be very difficult because the cut-offs for OBC category in government colleges are usually around 450–500 marks. So realistically, admission in government BAMS colleges this year is almost impossible. However, don’t lose hope—there are still options. You can look at private BAMS colleges, where the cut-offs are lower, often around 230–380 marks, which makes admission possible. Another option is to check government or private colleges in other states, though even there 258 marks is quite low. If your goal is specifically government BAMS, you can re-attempt NEET next year and aim for 450+ marks to improve your chances significantly. Meanwhile, participate actively in counselling rounds, explore private colleges seriously, and keep backup options ready. Clearing NEET is already a good start, and with smart planning, you can still move forward in your BAMS journey.
Hey Risita! With a WBJEE rank of 7802 in the OBC-B category, your chances of securing a seat in the Agriculture department are quite limited, especially in government colleges. For instance, in 2024, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) had a closing rank of 12,048 for B.Tech Agricultural Engineering under the OBC-B category . This indicates that your rank is slightly above the typical closing ranks for this course.
However, don't be discouraged. Here are a few options you might consider:
1. Private Agriculture Colleges: Some private institutions may have higher closing ranks, increasing your chances of admission.
2. Other States' Colleges: Explore agricultural colleges in other states where the competition might be less intense.
3. Reattempt WBJEE: If you're determined to pursue agriculture in a government college, consider preparing for the next WBJEE exam to improve your rank.
