Hello people i wanted to ask i have both Haryana and Delhi Domicile so can i apply in both state's medical colleges under State Quota
Hey Adhiraj:)
Unfortunately, holding two domicile certificates from two different states is against the rules and not allowed .A domicile certificate is meant to prove your permanent residence in one state only, and having more than one is considered invalid and risky.Infact, some Universities have already debarred some NEET candidates who tried to use double domicile. So, the safest approach is to choose one state for which you clearly meet the domicile eligibility to ensure you meet all requirements and participate in that state counselling .
You can still apply through All India Quota,so you don't lose your chances of admission while staying completely within the rules.
hope you'll find this helpful!
Hello!
So if you have domicile of both Haryana and Delhi you cannot claim state quota seats in both states at the same time. As per the rules of NEET counseling a student can avail benefit of one state only. You should have a valid domicile certificate. You will need to choose either Haryana or Delhi.
Make sure to decide on the basis of your cutt off and check which state gives you better chance.
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
No, you cannot use two domiciles at the same time for State Quota medical seats. You have to choose one state and apply there. If you try in both, your candidature may get rejected. Pick the state where you have better chances — Haryana has comparatively lower cutoffs than Delhi, so chances are slightly higher in Haryana.
