Vasundhra 19th May, 2025

Dear Candidate ,
To become a professor in nursing you must complete B.Sc Nursing followed by Msc nursing to become an assistant professor . While a PHD is not mandatory initially , it highly recommended and often required  for promotions in most universities . You may need to qualify exams like UGC -NET or university specific requirement tests , especially for teaching in central or state universities . During M.Sc. Nursing , you can earn through part-time clinical work , teaching assistant roles , or stipends offered by some institutions .

I have 74.6% in class 12.Am I eligible to take placement in top MNCs like Google, microsoft and amazon with high package (approx 48 lpa-60 lpa) if I have persued mtech in cs branch from iit bombay?

Anushree Thakare 30th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

Yes, having 74.6% in Class 12 will likely not be a barrier to placement in top MNCs with high packages after completing a B.Tech in CS from IIT Bombay.

While some companies may have minimum percentage requirements in 10th and 12th (often around 60% or 70%), your IIT degree and branch (CS) are significant factors in your placement eligibility and the high packages you're targeting.

IITs have robust placement cells that facilitate these high-paying placements for their students.

Besides academics, skills, projects, and interview performance are also crucial for landing those high-paying jobs.

Thank you!!

Sir jin candidates ne intermediate aur graduation bio se ki hai to kya wo MCA kar computer engineering branch se kar sakte hain

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

Yes, candidates can pursue an MCA if they have completed intermediate and graduate coursework in biology. Master of Computer Applications, or MCA for short, is a program that focuses on software and computer science. It is not the same as computer engineering, which is a distinct field with its own M.Tech.

As long as you have finished your graduation, having a background in biology is not an issue for MCA. Although MCA is not the same as computer engineering, you can still pursue it.

I am a pcb student and i had passed 12th from state board 1 yr ago now i wanna add maths to my marksheet through nios and can I add subjects credits through TOC and give mhtcet so can I do that? and if yes then how?

Ayush Madanpotra 25th Jul, 2025

Yes, you can add Mathematics to your 12th marks by giving the NIOS exam and then become eligible for MHT CET.

You have passed 12th earlier with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Now if you want to apply for Engineering or BTech through MHT CET, you must also have Mathematics in your 12th. You can do this by applying through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) and choosing Mathematics as an additional subject.

You don't have to give all subjects again. NIOS allows you to use TOC (Transfer of Credit). This means you can keep your old marks in Physics and Chemistry and only write the Mathematics exam now. NIOS will issue a new marksheet after you pass, including both the old and new subjects.

Once you clear the Maths paper, your subject group becomes PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), which is valid for MHT CET Engineering admissions.

You need to apply on the NIOS website as a 12th student. While applying, upload your old marksheet and select TOC for Physics and Chemistry. Choose Mathematics as your new subject. After paying the fees, prepare for the exam. When you pass, NIOS will give you a fresh marksheet. Make sure to finish this before MHT CET admissions start.

my rank in ipucet bca is 3597 i am sc category outside delhi candidate can i get admission in maharaja surajmal institute

lisa 19th May, 2025

It's likely you'll get into a good BCA program in IPU with a rank of 3597 as an outside Delhi SC candidate. For 2025, candidates from the Outside Delhi quota should aim for a rank below 7,000 to secure admission in USICT (CSE), while Delhi candidates may get in with ranks up to 25,000. The same principles apply to BCA programs.

I am OBC with 80.2 percentile will I be able to get CS in RRU Ggandhinagar 2025

lisa 19th May, 2025

It's difficult to say definitively whether you'll get into RRU Gandhinagar for Computer Science (CS) with an 80.2 percentile in the OBC category, but it's a possibility. An 80 percentile is considered good, especially for reserved categories, and can lead to admissions in various engineering programs, including CS.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

RRU Gandhinagar:

RRU has specific admission guidelines and a merit-based system, which includes reservation for OBC candidates.

80.2 Percentile:

While an 80 percentile is a good score, it's not guaranteed to secure a CS seat in RRU, especially if the demand is high or the cutoff is stricter.

OBC Category:

Reservations are in place for OBC candidates, which can increase the chances of admission, especially at lower percentile scores.

Competition:

The competition for CS seats can be high, and the cutoff will vary based on the number of applicants, their scores, and the specific branch.

I am OBC with 80.2 percentile will I be able to get CS in RRU Ggandhinagar 2025

Nikita shahi 23rd Jul, 2025

Hello candidate,

You're from the OBC category with an 80.2 percentile. Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Gandhinagar admits students into B.Tech programs including CS/Cybersecurity through JEE Main or merit. They reserve a good chunk—27% of seats for OBC candidates . So you're in the right category, which does improve your chances. However, CS is one of the more competitive streams, even for reserved categories. In recent years, the cut-off ranks for OBC in RRU’s CSE (Cyber Security) hovered around 8,000–12,000, equivalent to approximately 75–85 percentile on JEE Main . Your 80.2 percentile places you in that range—but final admission depends on:

  • Number of JEE qualifiers this year
  • Demand for CS seats
  • Vacancies after higher cut-off rounds
  • Apply and participate fully in the JEE Main counselling
