Dear candidate , You can correct your DOB in the SSC registration form using the OTR correction window , if it is open . If the correction window is closed , you cannot change DOB later , mismatched DOB may lead to rejection during document verification. After closure , you may try requesting correction via your regional SSC office , but it is not guaranteed .
Hi dear candidate,
You have got a decent rank in TGICET exam as well as your BCA final year marks are also good. Your rank falls in the CBIT cut off but for the reserved categories only, if you are from general category then, it is slightly tough for you. If you belong to a reserved category (SC or ST) your admission is very likely. If you are from general category then you may need to wait till last round of seat allocation.
Check the cut off for CBIT 2025 at our official website:

Dear Aspirant,
With a rank of 158627, getting a seat in BSc agriculture and it related courses in government or reputed colleges in Karnataka is unlikely, especially for unreserved category. Government quota seats in BSc Agriculture are highly competitive and often close before 80,000 rank, especially in popular colleges like UAS Bangalore, Dharwad, Raichur, and Shivamogga. For reserved categories ranks up to 1.2–1.5 lakh may get a chance in less preferred colleges or private institutions.
What you should do is to participate in the counselling. You might get a seat in the later rounds, or you should look for other related courses such as B.Sc. Agri Marketing & Cooperation, B.Sc. Forestry, B.Tech Food Technology etc.

The fee structure for BSc Nursing in 2025 differs greatly between the government quota and the management quota. Under the government quota, students usually pay a much lower annual tuition fee, typically between 5,000 and 10,000. In top government institutions like AIIMS or JIPMER, fees can be as low as 2,400 to 4,800 each year. These fees are heavily subsidized and may include small extra charges for facilities like labs, registration, or library access.
In contrast, students admitted through the management quota in private or self-financing colleges generally face much higher fees. The annual tuition fee for management quota students can range from 20,000 to 2,50,000, depending on the college's reputation, facilities, and location. On average, private colleges charge about 80,000 to 2,00,000 per year for management seats, with extra costs for hostel and mess facilities. These additional costs can raise the total expense by 40,000 to 1,00,000 annually.
While admissions under the government quota provide an affordable way to pursue nursing education, management quota seats offer access with fewer merit requirements but at a higher financial cost. Students should check the official fee structure of their chosen colleges and consider available scholarships, state domicile benefits, and reservation quotas before making a decision.
