At such high rank there is no possibility to get either nit or iiit allahabad as both are highly sought after colleges in india and the cutoffs are very high so at this rank you stand no chance to get any seat irrespective of the branch you can only get some private colleges and that too that are not so good I would recommend you to reappear for jee and work hard for so that you can get a better college but for the time being you can predict your college using the following link

NO u can't get any nit or IIIT.
But u can get some good govt college such as.
1.Gndec Ludhiana (in spot round)
2.gndu Amritsar
3.sahred Bhagat Singh
4.Gndu Jalandhar.
....
U can also get some good Pvt colleges such as
1. Jecrc Jaipur
2.skit Jaipur
3.Bit Patna ( IT/production/ee)
4. Bit Jaipur (ece /ee)
5.bit deoghar (all branch)
6.Lnct Bhopal
7.oriental Bhopal
8. Nsit Kolkata
9.Bc Roy Durgapur

First of all I am a girl...Secondly I have heard that every year a lot of seats remain unfilled and therefore this year the counseling rounds have been increased...so is there any chance?

sorry mam for that. yes you heard very true but the most of the seats are from branches like food tech, bio tech, medicinal, metallurgy etc. and also from lower nits.

You have less chances to get a seat in NITs and IIITs based on your rank you can try in private colleges of engineering.
