A student is eligible for OBC reservation under the state quota, however not eligible as per the central quota, in this circumstances how to apply for JEE mains to avail the reservation applicable for the respective state in NIT.

Hi,

As per information available , In order to get benefit of  reservation in Central institute like IITs, NITs,IIITs , your caste or community should be in the Central OBC list. If you caste is in OBC in state but doesn't include in Central OBC list, then you could not get OBC-NCL Reservation. You will be treated as General category student.
