I'm glad that you wish to become an assistant professor in a diploma college. Unfortunately though, you can't become an assistant professor by just qualifying in the GATE exam. You need to complete MTech. from a university. After completing the 2-year MTech. course, you can apply for your desired job of being an assistant professor in a diploma college.
