Yes, Irrespective of Your performance in JEE Main January all are eligible to appear for JEE Main April exam and even those who did not appear for JEE Main January are also eligible to appear for JEE Main April. So Try better in the Next exam.

Right now it will be not easy to say whether you will be elligible or not for nit with  44 percentile.This is percentile score which is common to all not any category specific.Percentile score tell about relative performance of candidates in their respective session. I can give you rough idea about your rank in general quota using this formula:Probable Rank= (100- NTA percentile score) X 874469 /100.Your rank in general quota will be 4.89lakhs.

Wait till NTA declares raw score and cuttoff for each category.NTA will declares rank and cuttoff after 2nd phase examination .

You still have one attempt for jee mains 2019.

The Actual cutoffs For JEE Advance will be released once JEE Main April gets Over Because the ranks will be calculated considering the scores of Both the JEE Main exams that are whichever is better, therefore, You have to wait for Now until the Cutoffs are released By the Nation a Testing Agency.
