Hi Arpith,

As such the placement is not very good in Chemical as there are very few core companies in Bangalore. Mostly the placements are from the IT companies. If you want a job in chemical itself, you will have to be very talented in your skills.

Good Luck:)

Chemical engineering field has a lot of scope.. but still chemical engineer's have low salary for the first 3 to 4 years but after a experience of 5 years a good chemical engineer can have average salary of 1 to 1.3 lacks per month

Hiii,

Placement scenario is never an issue in chemical engineering.

Chemical engineers get hansome amount of payscale for sure.

You can land up in Petroleum sector, refinery, pharma company, textile, paints, design firm, any local chemical manufacturer, polymer, material manufacturing, data analyst, energy manager, Chemical Chartered accountant, a chemical engineer can land up with number of job profiles.

Thank you.

Good luck.

Hi Arpith Kumar,

Well if you see placements as a whole you get lots of companies. But if you want to get placement in core chemical companies, there are only a few companies. Major core companies are

MCF (Mangalore Chemical Factory) Package - Rs. 16,000 per month

that's it! (And in MCF girls are not allowed to work.)

Other companies are mostly IT companies such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc
