Initially you must solve NCERT exemplars as this will strengthen your base.Then you can move on to solve RS Agarwal and RD Sharma.You don't need to go for lengthy and tough books.You should aim for short targets and try to develop understanding if question and ways of solving the problem.
Other than that you should buy TMH book as it as lot of variety of questions which will help you to build confidence.
