Actually, in order to become eligible for NIFT, one has to appear for CAT, GAT and situation test.For Bachelors of Design at NIFT, 50% of CAT, 30% of GAT and 20% of Situation Test are complied together to calculate total percentage. Favorable result gives entry to reputed NIFT institution. Whereas, less percentile does not. But for bachelor of fashion Technology, only GAT is considered.
