It depends on what you want to do in life. But I will tell one thing that BSc is a academic degree whereas BDS is a professional degree. In todays world getting a MSc atleast for good job is important. So again you have to give entrance exams and stuff. So a 3yr BSc and 2 yr MSc is total 5years. Similarly BDS is 4.5 years but if you get in a government college you’ll already get stipend in the final year and then you can do house-staff-ship. Getting a job is really easy after BDS if you have the skills. But getting a job even after MSc degree is not going to be very easy. But you never know. You should take whatever your heart wishes for. The scope of a BSc degree is much greater anytime than a BDS degree.
