Btech in Food technology is a four year full time undergraduate programme offered by both bannari amman college and kongu engineering college. Eligibility for the same is 10+2 with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate in physics chemistry and maths. I'll give you some details for both of these colleges :

• BANNARI AMMAN COLLEGE

Fees : approximately 3 lakhs.

Mode of admission: based on marks scored by the student in senior secondary.

Placements : The placements in this college are really good, last year almost 80 percent of the students were placed. Max salary was 1 lakh per month and minimum was 20,000 per month

Faculty : all of the teachers are well educated and qualified,  and have also proved to be very much helpful to the students.

• KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Fees : approximately 2.4 lakhs.

Placements : The median salary in kongu engineering college is around 3.5 LPA, companies like nestle etc are top recruiters.

Faculty : the teachers here are all very well qualified, and well updated with the latest trends in the field.
