There are ten colleges in Varanasi which provides M.B.A course out of which the top colleges is Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. It was established in the year 1968. The institute is founded by Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya. It is also known as FMS BHU. In the year 1984, the institute obtained Independent Faculty Status.
