BHU stands for The Banaras Hindu University which is founded by Bharat Ratna Mahamansa Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in the year 1916.

BHU application form released on  month of January 2021 and last date to fill this form is 1st week of March.

For general and OBC category the application form fee is rupees 600 and for SC and ST it is rupees 300.

Eligibility criteria-

• Those who have completed their class 12th or equivalent examination.
• Candidates are required to attain at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Exam pattern

• UET Exam will be through online CBT mode.
• The Time Duration of the Paper will be of 2 hours or 2½ hours for various courses.
• There will be Multiple choice type questions in the paper.
• The Number of Questions will 150 questions of 450 marks in the paper.
• The language of the paper will be English & Hindi.

Admission to BSc(Hons) courses in BHU are done through entrance exam named BHU UET, till now the competent authority hasn't released the admission schedule, that is date pertaining to release of application form or even exam dates for that matter, you can stay updated at the official website at bhu.ac.in for latest updates regarding this,  to brief you about the entrance test it's conducted for a duration of 150 minutes, there are a total of 150 questions for a total of 450 marks, for Maths Group questions are from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50 questions each, in case of Bio group questions are from Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50 questions each, it's all in MCQs format, you can go through previous year paper at http://bhuonline.in/old-qus-paper-2019.html to know more details regarding this.
