there is BSc and diploma courses in india

BSc Hons stand for Bachelor of Science Honours . A Bachelor's degree BSc is generally considered an ordinary pass degree and BSc Hons is looked upon as an extraordinary degree. A Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree ( Hons ), are both academic degrees given to undergraduate students. BSc or Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate degree of three years duration which is universally offered across institutes and universities across India.

whereas a certificate awarded by an educational institutions to show that someone has successfully completed a course of study is called diploma. diploma is a 3 years course.

diploma is a under graduation course.
