IITs don't let you apply for good tech companies from their portal cuz they have sworn to get their top btech branches places at qny cost. They don't give a damn about chemistry and earth sciences. So aim for startup if you have idea or you can apply for some good tech companies off-campus. The chances are certainly low. see technical placement is for those who are doing btech or mtech in iit kharagpur. and from bsc in chemistry you are not eligible to apply for technical job. however after doing msc from iits many candidates of chemistry honours get placed in many industry, cosmetic company, fmgc companies.
