NEET is all National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam and is the standard admission test for all the medical/dental/Unani/ BAMS courses in the country.
In order to be eligible for admission to government medical/dental colleges or even private colleges, you neet to qualify for NEET.
The qualifying scores are:
For UR: 50th percentile
OBC/SC/ST : 40th percentile
PwD: 45th percentile

No, you will not able to get admission in govt.  BDS or MBBS without neet as ground rules set according to NMC.

Whether it's private medical colleges or govt irrespective of these you should must give neet to study MBBS or BDS in India. Even if you want to study abroad and then practice medicine in India then also you need to NEET qualify.

NEET is mandatory for taking admission in this course and college are allotted on the basis of your neet marks and rank.

NEET is a pen and paper-based exam conducted for admission to 91,415 MBBS , 26,949 BDS , 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, and AH seats.
