At the undergraduate level the university offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses to the interested candidates. B.E is a course of four years whereas B.Arch takes five years to complete its duration. The university also accepts lateral entry in B.E programme, which is a second year entry in B.E and holds three years of duration.

To get admission in B.E programme, candidates need to appear any of the entrance exam given below:

• Karnataka CET, which is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). For online application form , candidates may refer this link
• COMEDK UGT, is an entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. To apply for ComedK, the candidates must need to check the official website 
• Joint Entrance Test (JEE), which is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. To get online application form of JEE entrance at official website
• The candidates seeking admission in B.arch programme have to attend National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
