KAHER Admission process:

KAHER offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Ayurveda, Hotel Management, Music, Biostatistics, Psychology and Public Health through its constituent units. Allied Health Science, courses include B.Sc., BPH, M.Sc., MPH, MHA and Fellowship Programmes. It also includes the PG Diploma, Certificate Courses and Music Courses. The admissions to Medicine and Dentistry courses are through the national level entrance examinations -  NEET-UG and  NEET PG. MBBS aspirants have to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. For admission to postgraduate programmes candidates have to appear for the NEET-PG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses to Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Ayurveda, Hotel Management, Music, Biostatistics, Psychology and Public Health is through the merit of the qualifying exam. The Department of Physiotherapy selects the shortlisted candidates based on the interview. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the interview process. KAHER admission process for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Ayurveda, Hotel Management, Music, Biostatistics, Psychology and Public Health:

• Eligible candidates need to register themselves at the KAHER website and pay the admission fee.

• After the successful registration, candidates are provided with the login Id.

• Using that login ID, candidates have to fill up the admission form and submit it

• Admission committees of the respective courses shortlist the application based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and prepare the merit list.

• Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the entrance examination.

• Based on the entrance examination, the merit list will be published by the concerned departments.

• As per the merit list candidates have to visit the KAHER or affiliated institute and complete the admission process, which includes document verification and fee payment.

KAHER admission process for MBBS:

• Medical aspirants have to appear for NEET UG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

• They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

• Candidates need to give preference to KAHER while doing the choice feeling in the NEET UG counselling.

• The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and reservation criteria. 

• Candidates who accept the KAHER in the seat allotment process, have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes. 

KAHER admission process for M.D/M.S/PG Diploma:

• Candidates have to appear for NEET PG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

• They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

• Candidates need to give preference to KAHER while doing the choice feeling in the NEET PG counselling.

• The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and the reservation criteria. 

• Candidates who accept the KAHER, have to report to the institute for document verification and fee payment. 

KAHER admission process for Super Speciality Courses (D.M,/M.Ch):

• Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET SS exam.

• Then, the candidates have to register and apply for KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research, on the DGHS website.

• Shortlisting of candidates is done by DGHS based on NEET PG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling.

• Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

KAHER admission process for BDS:

• BDS aspirants have to appear for NEET UG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

• They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

• Candidates need to give preference to KAHER while doing the choice feeling in the NEET UG counselling.

KAHER admission process for PhD:

• KAHER offers admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programs (Full Time / Part Time) in various disciplines of Health Sciences including Inter-disciplinary Research.

• Ph.D aspirants need to register themselves at the KAHER website and pay the admission fee.

• After the successful registration, candidates are provided with the login Id.

• Using that login ID, candidates have to fill up the admission form and submit it.

• Candidates have to appear for the online entrance exam conducted by concerned departments of the KAHER.
