Yes, you can appear for WBJEE (west bengal joint entrance examination) even if you are studying in 1st year in any other college.And if you will be to secure a good rank the you can get admission into Jadhavpur University.

Yes ,you can have admission in jadavpur University on the basis of your WBJEE score but if you are in BTech first year from other University then after having admission you will have to again start from B Tech 1st year in jadavpur University, for Computer Science and Engineering branch you need to have marks under 175 to 185.
