JEE has got nothing to do with Marine Engineering except IITs. In IITs, admission to marine engineering is done through JEE Advanced. For Marine Engineering, there is a seperate entrance exam called IMUCET. Every year, IMUCET is held in the month of June.So JEE rank doesn't matter. IMUCET rank matters in order to get a Maritime Institute.All admissions in top marine engineering colleges in India take place on the basis of the rank in IMUCET Exam.
