Shipping Industry is a good sector where one may build a rewarding career. It is an important sector, which is crucial for the growth and stability of the Global Economy.
Shipping Industry generates a number of job opportunities. Marine Engineers are required by the Industry in large numbers. After the completion of the course and 6 months of sea service, one will be able to get the Class 4 Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency. After getting this certificate, one may join Merchant Navy ships as a Marine Engineer.
While selecting Marine Engineering College, check whether they are approved by the Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping or not.
