Yes, you can cancel the seat allotted even after filling the status retention form. To cancel the seat you need to cancel it at the respective college. The college will accept the cancellation and inform the Competent Authority along with copy of the cancellation letter immediately. Last date to cancel the admission to Medical/Dental and Ayush Course will be specified in due course. If you do not cancel the admission after the specified date then you have to pay penalty of Rs. 3,00,000. The cancellation form is in Annexure - X in Maharashtra NEET 2022 UG CAP Counselling. Use the above link and click on 'Brochure' to view it. You can find the Annexure - X in Page number 174. Take the print out of the Cancellation form in Page number 174, fill it and submit it in the institute you took admission.
