Yes if it's about the same college VTU then if vacancies are available in the aeronautical branch then you can switch after the first year. And if you are in another some college right now or don't have vacancies available in your own college aeronautical branch, then you would need to give the entrance exam again.. And would need to get the merit marks first as per the cutoff of VTU aueronautical branch and then repeat the first year as well.
